Exercise, Activity and DiabetesExercise, Activity and Diabetes is a one hour accredited course. It will discuss the importance of exercise and activity as a non-pharmacological therapy of diabetes. Metabolic effects of exercise, fuel use during exercise, types of exercise and blood glucose management are presented. Issues for type 1 and type 2 diabetes are identified. Several handouts to use with patients are provided.
